Went this morning. Flat calm and a little chilly. Water has warmed up quite a bit. Nothing going on out in the middle. Back to the usual finesse tactics close to the bank. Ended up with 8 and 8 sunfish. Lost what appeared to be good bass right at the kayak. Plenty of bites. South wind picked up on my way in. That is all. 🙄

You should have gone to East. Water was the coldest I have ever seen but bites could be had on the sunny side. Slow start but caught 8/9 and lost a couple. 🙄

You need to get out in the boat. I got 7 or 8 at east this morning and lost a few. Was only out for 2 hours. 🙄

That water just never got flowing. Rainy season is winding down. Makes all the difference. 🤔

Was tempted to take the kayak out but had concerns with the wind. Went to east and fished from the bank instead. I guess the fish like the sunshine! Fished a worm and started getting bit right away. Was missing more than I was catching. Ended up with 15, lost 4 and more missed fish than I could count. Wind was blowing pretty good when I left. 🙄

Was a tough and boring week with the wind and the cold. Fished every morning at the park. Got 4 this morning with 2 of them being nice chunks. Next week not looking much better except we will see the sun! 😎

Foggy start out in the kayak. Flat calm so a real slow start. South breeze eventually picked up so I ventured over to the west side of the lake. They weren’t chasing so I started throwing a weightless super fluke jr into the grass and started getting fish. Ended up with 12 and lost 5. No size of course. Another boat made the scene. Out of there @ 10. 😎
